Confirmation Programme

Confirmation is one of the Sacraments celebrated in our parish, when the Holy Spirit is sealed upon us in a particular way, helping us to undertake mature Christian service of God and neighbour.

If you are an adult from another Christian denomination interested in being confirmed as a Catholic, you invited to enrol in the RCIA programme.

For young adults aged 14 and over (School Years 9 and above), a Confirmation Programme of formation begins in the early months of each year, and the sacrament is normally celebrated around the time of Pentecost (June), or when the bishop is available. The formation programme is done in partnership with some of York's other Catholic parishes.
