Venues

In addition to the church building, the site includes the Father Kelly Room (for meetings), the parish hall, and parish house/office.

Location

Our Lady's Church is located on the corner of Gale Lane and Cornlands Road in Acomb, to the west of York city centre.

The main church doors are normally only open for times of worship on Sundays and special occasions. Midweek worship is normally in the Father Kelly Room.

Entrance to the Father Kelly Room, the Parish Hall, and Parish House/Office is via Cornlands Road.

Parking
Car parking is available on site at the rear of the church. Entrance from Cornlands Road. For those using Sat Nav, it is better to use the postcode of the Priory Medical Centre next door - YO24 3WX - as the parish postcode (YO24 3AE) covers a wide area. The car park is under CCTV surveillance, but drivers park vehicles at their own risk. On Sundays visitors are permitted to park at the Priory Medical Centre if the church car park is full.

Public Transport
The number 4 bus runs from York city centre via the train station to Acomb Green, stopping on Cornlands Road at the Energise health centre, very near to the church.

Entrances
​There are ramps for wheelchairs etc. at both entrances. There is step free access to both doors and to the Father Kelly Room.

​​Hearing
A hearing aid loop system is in operation in the main church building.

​​Gluten free
Gluten free altar breads are always at the back of the church - please add one to the special paten if you wish to have one.

​Aid Dogs
Service dogs are very welcome.

​Facilities
Toilets are available, including for those with disability.
