MASS BOOKINGS
It is lovely to have people coming to Mass again. As the pandemic continues the obligation to attend Mass is still suspended so you mustn't feel under any kind of pressure to come until you feel safe doing so, and you certainly should not attend if you are feeling unwell.
To request places for Mass please complete the online booking form (links below) or call the parish office (01904 791242) between 9.00am and 12.00noon on a Tuesday or a Thursday. If nobody is available please leave a message on the answerphone giving clear details of your name, contact number, the mass you wish to attend and the names of those attending with you.
If you wish to attend Our Lady's for Mass please follow the links below to register. You are able to attend Sunday Mass at 9.30am or 5.00pm and other Masses as indicated below.
** If you have registered to attend a Mass, and then find that you cannot come, please do your best to let us know in good time that you will not be here. This will help with the allocation of seats and mean that we don't turn people away needlessly **

Sunday 26th September
The 9.30am Sunday morning Mass will also be live streamed from the church.
Following the risk assessment, there are currently no public Masses being celebrated at St. Joseph's, Green Hammerton.
With social distancing the seating capacity of the church is less than usual. So far we have not been so full that we have had to turn people away. If, however, when all the bookings are in, there wasn't room for everyone then we would have to move some people to the following week. If this were to be the case we would let people know in good time.
When you enter the church there will be hand sanitisers for you to use, and stewards to direct you to your seat which will have been allocated in advance - this is to allow proper social distancing so that people are safe. There will also be a one-way system in place. Wearing of masks is now obligatory because of government regulations unless, of course, you are exempted for health reasons. If you forget your mask we will have spares here for you to use. The church will be disinfected on a regular basis.
If you wish to contribute to the offertory collection there is a basket in the porch where you can do this as you leave Mass.
