As well as our own Parish Groups, the amenities of our Parish are used by other community groups. These groups are not organised by the Parish, but we offer them the use of our facilities as a contribution to local society. At present the groups using our facilities on a regular basis includes:

The York Irish Association is a celebration of Irish culture and tradition and brings together the Irish community and anyone with an interest in all things Irish and relevant to York.

The City of York has had strong connections with the Irish people throughout its history which increased in the middle of the 19th Century with mass immigration from Ireland to Britain. Irish immigrants settled and integrated into the community over time.

The connection between the Irish community and York is still very strong today and it is our aim to celebrate and enrich this close connection in a fully inclusive way.
